It’s the Fourth of July, and Tony de Movellan is up before the sun because he loves America. For 19 years, he and those who work for him at Prudential A.S. de Movellan Real Estate have dotted Lexington streets with rows of flags on the Fourth. And what started as 200 has now grown to 8,000. Dawahare's to close 22 remaining stores

Dawahare's of Lexington is closing its remaining 22 clothing stores and going out of business because it has been unable to raise the cash it needs to continue operating. The 101-year-old family-owned company said in a filing Thursday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Lexington that it expects to run out of money by October.
